Mega Plus Mega-B Complex 60 caps. INGREDIENTS soybean oil, edible gelatin, anhydrous glucose, stabilizer (glycerin), vitamin C, soy lecithin, nicotinamide, vitamin E, calcium pantothenate, vitamin B6, vitamin B2, vitamin B1, color (iron oxide), folic acid, biotin , vitamin B12. PRODUCT INFORMATION The B vitamins also known under the name B-complex vitamins, are fragile substances, soluble in water, several of which are especially important to metabolize carbohydrates. Each capsule contains MEGA B COMPLEX: - Vitamin B1: 1.4 mg (100%). - Vitamin B2: 1.6 mg (100%). - Vitamin B6: 1.8 mg (100%). - Vitamin B12: 1? G (100%). - Pantothenic Acid: 6 mg (100%). - Vitamin C: 60 mg (100%). - Vitamin E: 10 mg (100%). - Biotin: 0.15 mg (100%). - Vitamin B3: 18 mg (100%). - Vitamin B9: 160? G (80%). • The thiamine or vitamin B1es a colorless crystalline substance that acts as a catalyst in the metabolism of carbohydrates, enabling pyruvic acid metabolism and making carbohydrates release their energy. • The vitamin B2 or riboflavin acts as part of a group of enzymes called flavoproteins that are involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Riboflavin is essential for normal growth and maintenance of tissues. If there is a deficit, some tissues are more damaged than others. • The nicotinamide or vitamin B3, works as a coenzyme to release energy from nutrients. Like thiamin and riboflavin, niacin also functions as a coenzyme in energy metabolism. • The vitamin B6 is a set of three similar compounds: pyridoxine (PN), pyridoxal (PL) and pyridoxamine (PM). The importance of vitamin B6 metabolism depends on its conversion to pyridoxal-5-phosphate (PALP), which functions as an enzyme in many biochemical reactions, almost all related in some way with amino acids. • The cobalamin or vitamin B12 is also known as cyanocobalamin, is necessary in minute quantities for the formation of nucleoproteins, proteins and red blood cells, and for the functioning of the nervous system. Involved in the synthesis of DNA. • The folic acid or vitamin B9 is a coenzyme necessary for the formation of structural proteins and hemoglobin. Involved in the synthesis of purine and pyrimidine bases and erythropoiesis. Folic acid is not found as such in the food or the body of man, but becomes in active form by action of the body. • The pantothenic acid is involved in cell metabolism as a coenzyme in the release of energy from fat, protein and carbohydrates. • The biotin is a cofactor for the enzymatic carboxylation of four substrates: pyruvate, acetyl-CoA (CoA), propionyl-CoA and beta-methylcrotonyl-CoA. As such it is important in the metabolism of both carbohydrate and lipid. Biotin deficiency gives rise to fatigue, anorexia, depression, malaise, muscle pain, nausea, anemia, hypercholesterolemia and alterations in the electrocardiogram. • The Vitamin C facilitates both the release of iron from transferrin (iron-carrying protein in blood) and of ferritin (a major storage form of iron). It is important to their participation in the formation of collagen and mucopolysaccharides. • The vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol) is a redox agent that under some circumstances act as an antioxidant. By acting as an antioxidant, vitamin E may prevent the oxidation of essential cellular constituents, or prevents the formation of toxic oxidation products, such as peroxidation products formed from unsaturated fatty acids were detected in their absence. CONSUMER INFORMATION 1 capsule is recommended MEGA B COMPLEX in activities that require physical and intellectual overexertion in times of growth, pregnancy, protein diets and vegetarian diets in heavy alcohol intake. Also used as energizing, for their essential participation in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats, as well as helping in the treatment of anemia, as an adjunct in the treatment of neurological inflammatory processes (inflammation of the sciatic nerve, trigeminal etc.), in states of convalescence and loss of appetite.
