Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid, which plays a role in brain activity, mood and alertness. People with repetitive injuries, osteo-arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, back pain, migraines, leg and muscle cramps would be well advised to include DLPA as part of their diet. DLPA enhances production of a compound cholecystokinin (CKK), which may reduce appetite. The fenilalanina is one of the eight necessary essential amino acids in any diet. The fenilalanina exists in the nature in two forms: Present L-fenilalanina in most of proteins of the diet and the present D-fenilalanina in the bacteria and weaves of the plants.
