Composition:
For 1g:
50 mg of camphor, 50 mg of turpentine essence, 27.5 mg of menthol, 15 mg of eucalyptus essence and 2.5 mg of thymol. The other ingredients are: cedar oil, vaseline.
Posology:
It can be used directly on the skin (cutaneous use) or diluted in hot water for vapor inhalation.
Cutaneous use: Apply a thin layer of ointment on the chest, neck and back. Contact with eyes and mucosa should be avoided. Repeat the application up to 3 times a day. Wear loose clothing to facilitate inhalation of vapors.
Inhalation: Add one tablespoon of VapoRub to a bowl of hot (not boiling) water. Breathe the vapors for 10-15 minutes.
Precautions:
Do not apply to children under 6 years of age.
It should be used with caution in children under 7 years of age, especially if they have suffered from seizures or epilepsy.
Consult a doctor in case of pregnancy or lactation.
It should not be used for more than 7 consecutive days.
It should not be swallowed or applied to the nostrils or face.
It should not be applied to damaged or wounded skin.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
