How to use:
1. Wet approximately 1 cm of the strip with the liquid to be measured.
2. Compare the color of the wet strip with the color on the accompanying scale.
Composition: Test strip designed to measure the pH of liquids, such as water or saliva, within a range of 4.9 to 7.9.
pH is a numerical scale (from 0 to 14) that indicates the acidity or alkalinity of a liquid, such as bodily fluids. The body's self-regulating system attempts to maintain a pH of 7.4 (slightly alkaline), which is the ideal value. When the pH drops, the body compensates for the imbalance with calcium to alkalize body fluids. Therefore, a person with an acidic or excessively alkaline body will have a much higher calcium intake than usual.
All healthy humans begin life with most of their body fluids and tissues in a slightly alkaline state (high pH). Over time, in modern society, body tissues and fluids often become acidic (low pH) due to the food, drinks, medications, pollution, and stress we absorb daily. Many substances (for example, sodium bicarbonate) can temporarily raise pH, but only minerals can raise and maintain it. Minerals play a crucial role in alkalizing body fluids and tissues, but they must be in a form that can be absorbed.
